Still pregnant.....Im due on Monday, August 6th and I'M SOOOO READY!!!!! Hahahaha
Here's one more belly picture! No, I don't have a ball under there, nor am I carrying twins!
39 weeks & 3 days!! COME ON BABY!!!!!!
Here's some funny pregnancy jokes I came across that pretty much sums it all up! Enjoy....
Q. Should I have a baby after 35?
A. No, 35 children is enough.
Q. When will my baby move?
A. With any luck, right after he finishes high school.
Q. How will I know if my vomiting is morning sickness or the flu?
A. If it's the flu, you'll get better.
Q. Since I became pregnant, my breasts, rear-end, and even my feet
have grown. Is there anything that gets smaller during pregnancy?
A. Yes, your bladder.
Q. What is the most common pregnancy craving?
A. For men to be the ones who get pregnant.
Q. What is the most reliable method to determine a baby's sex?
A. Childbirth.
Q. The more pregnant I get, the more often strangers smile at me.
Why?
A. 'Cause you're fatter than they are.
Q. My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she's
borderline irrational.
A. So what's your question?
Q. What's the difference between a nine-month pregnant woman and a
model?
A. Nothing, if the pregnant woman's husband knows what's good for
him.
Q. How long is the average woman in labor?
A. Whatever she says, divided by two.
Q. My childbirth instructor says it's not pain I'll feel during
labor, but pressure. Is she right?
A. Yes, in the same way that a tornado might be called an air
current.
Q. When is the best time to get an epidural?
A. Right after you find out you're pregnant.
Q. Is there any reason I have to be in the delivery room while my
wife is in labor?
A. Not unless the word "alimony" means anything to you.
Q. What does it mean when the baby's head is crowning?
A. It means you feel as though not only a crown but the entire
throne is trying to make its way out of you.
Q. Is there anything I should avoid while recovering from
childbirth?
A. Yes, pregnancy.
Q. Does pregnancy cause hemorrhoids?
A. Pregnancy causes anything you want to blame it for.
Q. Where is the best place to store breast milk?
A. In your breasts.
Q. Is there a safe alternative to breast pumps?
A. Yes, baby lips.
Q. What does it mean when a baby is born with teeth?
A. It means that the baby's mother may want to rethink her plans to
nurse.
Q. How does one sanitize nipples?
A. Bathe daily and wear a clean bra. It beats boiling them in a
saucepan.
Q. What are the terrible twos?
A. Your breasts after baby stops nursing cold turkey.
Q. What is the best time to wean the baby from nursing?
A. When you see teeth marks.
Q. Do I have to have a baby shower?
A. Not if you change the baby's diaper very quickly.
Q. Our baby was born last week. When will my wife begin to feel and
act normal again?
A. When the kids are in college.
Hope you all have a good day!!!

Almost time....
Well Im officially 38 weeks pregnant......and very ready for this pregnancy to be over!!!! Hahaha
I had to be induced last pregnancy with Scarlett because she was just too comfy and I went a week past due....I'm really HOPING that I don't have to be induced again. I was in labor for close to 24 hours and was very tired when it was all over. I think that my body was just not ready yet...
I've started to prepare a little bit earlier this time around.
-Bag is packed
-Everything is washed and organized
-I've started walking every other day to help the baby drop
-I've also started rocking and bouncing on my exercise ball (It opens your hips)
-I've been orally taking Evening primrose. It helps soften the cervix.
-Drinking some pregnancy tea
So hopefully some of these things might prepare me a little bit this time around...I plan on doing lots of other "activities" to help speed things up after my 38 weeks appt. tomorrow such as:
-I'm going to try eating some spicy food
-Make some eggplant parmesian
-Take some hot baths
-Walking more
-Do the "deed" Ugh!
And last but not least, as a LAST resort I plan on trying Castor Oil. I will only try it after my due date and maybe have my doctor strip my membranes too.
I'm really crossing my fingers that I wont make it that far, but you never know. My babies love to stay put!!
As much as I complain about being uncomfortable and "ready" to be done, I've can't help but be excited and happy to meet my little miracle. I'm excited to introduce her to this crazy world & her big sisters! I'm curious to know who she is going to be and what kind of personality she will have! I hope she is just like Scarlett because she has been such a blessing and cracks us up everyday!!
Well I will continue to patiently wait for my babygirl to arrive and enjoy the simplicity of only having one child.....Next time I check in I will hopefully be posting some newborn pics!!
I had to end this post with the cutest little picture of Scarlett playing soccer!!

Maternity Shoot Baby #2
....Well being that this is my second pregnancy, I really wanted to capture my pregnant belly as I did with Scarlett. My good friend Ashley did such an amazing job last time when we went to Utah and we had such a fun time! I remember her asking me when I wanted to do my next shoot and my only response was, " Ok Ash, how are you going to top the last ones???" I absolutely LOVED my last ones!!! She then looked over and said, "oh girl, don't worry they will turn out great" I didn't want it to come out rude like she couldn't top it, but DAMN those pictures were amazing and she did indeed top them!!! Am I surprised?? Absolutely not! She is an amazing photographer and best of all she is an awesome friend! Thanks again Ashley for capturing another special moment in my life!!
This time around we did the shoot when I was 33 weeks. My belly was a little bit bigger (well overall Im much bigger ha!) then last time with Scarlett because I was only 30 weeks then....
Hope you all enjoy these as much as I do!!!!!!
She was also able to capture some of Scarlett and I..They seriously make my heart melt!
Alright..I'm done showing off my big ol' belly!! Bring on the new baby pic's right?? Haha Well when she decide's on making her grand entrance into this crazy world I will try to update everyone with cute picture's!! Hopefully she doesn't keep mommy waiting too long:)

Oh baby!!
Could it be?? Is it possible?? Yep. Those were the questions running through my head when I found out...Found out what you ask??
Well as it wasn't planned nor a surprise...I'm EXPECTING BABY #2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well actually we've have known for quite awhile now...I'm due AUGUST 6th!!!! (laziness on my part)
I'm 36 weeks now and this pregnancy has pretty much mimicked my last one with Scarlett. We've had a few ultrasounds since finding out and so far so good with her health and growth...
We also found out what "baby #2" is going to be...Originally we were going to wait it out like we did with Scarlett, but Mommy couldn't hold out and found out!!!! We had a gender reveal party with close friends and family and Daddy was able to find out if he will be having a boy or girl soon.. *drum roll*
It's a.......
GIRL!!!!
That's right, Scarlett & Taylen are going to have another sister! Soooooo let's all say it together....POOR DOM!!!!! Hahaha He's in for a real treat!
We're very excited to welcome our little miracle soon (very soon)!
My good friend was able to capture some awesome belly pictures like she did last time with Scarlett! I will post some of my favorites soon!!

Home sweet home...
Taylen came in town this past Friday for her Spring break. It was an emotional meeting knowing that we all haven't seen each other in 4 LONG months. I had tears in my eyes when I laid eyes on her as she walked in the door, simply at the fact that she was almost as tall as me. She is turning into a beautiful young woman! It's so hard to believe that when she came into my life, she was 2. She was learning how to talk and how to say my name and here she is now reading 500 page books and talking about what she wants to do after college. She turns 11 on the April 21st, crazy to think that she will be driving in 5 years...
We decided to take her to the beach for a few days. We stopped by the LA Zoo and headed to Hermosa Beach to stay. The next day we went to the The Aquarium of the Pacific and had dinner at P.f.Changs (yummy). The girls loved seeing all the animals and eating tons of delicious foods. On our last day there, we went to the beach to soak up the sun! It was Scarlett's first time and surprisingly she seemed to enjoy it. At first she was a little hesitant and cried, but after we showed her some toys she quickly warmed up. She learned that ocean water is very salty and that sand is not meant to be eaten! hahaha
It was really hard to leave the coast, but it was nice to get home. We spent the rest of the week hanging out and spending some more quality time together before Miss Taylen had to go back to Montana. Scarlett really enjoyed playing with her big sister and would wake up every morning yelling "sissy". I REALLY enjoyed talking to someone who could have a conversation during the day! It was really hard to say goodbye, knowing that the next time we see each other she will be more mature and older. I've really learned that life is so precious and our little ones grow WAY too fast. Cherish EVERYDAY you have with them....
Here's some pic's from our family vacation...
Can't wait to go back!!!
